Differences and similarities between the book ( The best of times ) and the film ( Thirteen )

The two main characters the stories have diferents problems with their family. In the book ( the best of times ) Chee Seng has problems with his family if his parent's separation. In the film ( Thirteen ) Tracey the protagonist, her problem were caused by the highschool.

Chee Seng and Tracey have problems because they take drugs, go to parties and take alcohol. But the case of Chee Seng is different because he takes drug for the first time, and Tracey take drugs more often.

Chee Seng's mother is worried for her mother's health. But Tracey's mother is worried about her daughter. Want Tracey wanted to be popular, and Chee Seng didn't want to become popular.
